Versiv PTFE Release solutions covers the mould

The processes for manufacturing aircraft components may vary, but Versiv PTFE release solutions simplify every moulding process - minimising downtime, rework, and the need for further processing (such as sanding or polishing).

  • PTFE-coated porous fabrics are often used as tool bleeder clothes, enabling trapped air and volatiles to escape during curing.
  • PTFE cast films are used as high temperature vacuum bagging and mould release materials. They substitute waxes and cleaning agents, while ensuring easy removal of the moulded component, with no transfer of resins.
  • PTFE pressure adhesive tapes are used for reliable tool masking.
  • What can be moulded with the aid of Versiv products?

    • Aircraft wing parts
    • Aircraft tail parts
    • Aircraft nose parts
